1. Don’t Use Facewash/Shampoo Again and Again!
This can worsen the skin and hair. In contrast it is advisable to not use any soapy product (Soap, face wash, body wash, shampoo) for at least 2-3 days. Soapy products can dehydrate skin/hair to the next level and leads to breakout on skin. Which further may lead to several other problems.
2. Don’t Rub
Rubbing is not going to help at all. Moreover, rubbing again and again can worsen skin/hair. Skin will lose moisture every time when you rub. Leave skin/hair to breath and to stop the damage. Sometimes our usual habits are not the most suitable solution.

Colours are definitely going to take away lot of moisture from skin and hair. Also going to make them extremely dry so it is advised to apply the moisture at least 3-4 times in a day to retain the moisture of skin to save skin from breakouts and damage. Oily skin people can apply gel based or oil free moisturisers. In contrast, normal to dry skin people can apply oil based cream/moisturisers to hydrate skin.
2. Use Cleansing Balm To Clean Face
Rather using soaps, use cleansing balms to cleanse the face without taking the moisture away from the skin. At the first place, It won’t dehydrate skin while cleaning the dirt and debris from it. Hence, It is advisable to clean face with a cleansing balm 2 times in a day for at least 7 days.
3. Apply Hydrating Hair Mask
Conditioner is not going to do any justice to your hair because it will be very-very frizzy and dry. Additionally, masks have power to hydrate hair and lock it for at least a week. Firstly, wash hair with shampoo to clear all dust of gulaal and colour and then towel dry hair. Apply mask leaving one inch from root in small sections. Leave for 10-15 minutes and then wash. Afterwards, repeat for 4 days.
4. Apply Leave-in Conditioner/Cream Everyday
Leave-in cream stops damage, tangling and frizz instantly. It has quality of retaining moisture and giving lost hydration. Apply it regularly for at-least 15 days and it will make hair hydrated and nourished. This will drastically improve your hair situation and will help to keep them nourished.

In addition, hot oil therapy can be very good and will be a treat to hair after a lot of suffering. Moreover, do oiling thrice in a week to retain the moisture. Skin will become sensitive if one have applied colour. Gulaal can be cleared in 2-3 cleansing but colour can’t be. Moreover, it will going to make skin sensitive. By applying SPF one can save skin from damage and sunburn because sensitive skin have more chances of damage than healthy skin.
Use at least SPF 50 to protect from sun. It will take 2-3 weeks to get skin into healthy texture again so make sure to not skip SPF for a single day.
7. Polish The Body
Not only your face/hair but your body also needs to be colour free and hydrated. A good polishing is going to help a lot. Also, It is suggested to take professional help by visiting salon because it’s not possible to reach on backside of body by oneself. With the help of polishing not only your skin will be exfoliated but also it will moisturise your skin with the help of body butter/oil.

Take a hydrating facial, a nourishing hair-spa and absolutely relaxing body polishing from professionals. Visit a salon and ask experts, what will be good as per the skin and hair type. They will analyse skin and will suggest the best treatment. A facial includes cleansing, exfoliating, massaging and mask application.
In addition, facial will clean skin by opening the pores, a massage will give required hydration and a pack will take back the pores to its normal texture.
